JINX! I ovulated about 2 weeks later than usual. I was convinced the doctor jinxed me when she said “at least we know you are ovulating”. . . I held on to everything I read about chemicals delaying Ovulation at the next cycle and, sure enough, that seems to have been the case (or it is menopause. . .).
The good news? I had a GREAT thermal shift when I did Ovulate. I had a definite positive OPK digital. But the temps have been so-so since. They dropped at 5DPO (yesterday) and haven’t fully recovered today.
The bad news: Who the hell cares . . . a dear friend has cancer. She found a lump under her armpit and the doctors found another in her breast. Does that mean it’s spreading? Is it breast cancer or lymphoma? She went through pregnancy with me, her daughter is 5 weeks younger than my son, and her husband was my best friend at school when I was working on my MBA at night.
Perspective: I have it, right now, this day. It will go away, and then come back, and then go away again I’m sure. But right now I’m not sweating having a baby.
